Week 6
This week I continued to learn A Great New World’s “Say Something” using the same video tutorial I used last time. To view it, click here.
I have been having trouble using both my right and left hand, and need to continue to practice that more regularly. I also found in the prior weeks that the more often I practice, the better I get. Clearly, playing the piano is like most things you need to work hard at.
I started this practice session out by reviewing everything I knew with my right hand. Then, I learned and practiced only the left hand. I found a good pattern in left hand, it’s the same four chords over and over again, for five rounds. The trick is, they do not always happen in sync with the right hand. When I tried to combine, I had a hard time, but kept going (and will keep going).
That all being said, here is my week 6 progress.
